2018 Emerging Professionals Luminaire Challenge

The IES Toronto Section Emerging Professionals Committee would like to announce the 2018 Luminaire Design Challenge. The Design Challenge is open to ALL Emerging Professionals (those working in the lighting industry or related field for 5 years or less – includes students).
Participants will work in teams and design, build, and present their own luminaire to a panel of judges and prizes will be awarded to the top teams. Each team will be given a variety of materials to work with. Guidance and inspiration will be provided by mentors who will be available to assist when needed. The competition is an all-day event which is to take place Saturday April 28th 2018 at Cree Canada.
Open to IES Emerging Professionals (five years or less in the industry) and students. This is a group project, participants are permitted to select one teammate with remaining members being assigned to groups by random draw.
