Investing in the Future
Join us for a panel discussion with our leaders in our industry followed by speed networking. Connect with these lighting professionals and learn about their careers and passions.
Join the IES Toronto Section Emerging Professionals (EP’s) for a panel discussion followed by an evening of meaningful networking with local lighting industry leaders who will speak directly to you and provide you with some inside perspectives and insights about their role in the lighting industry. They have gained their perspectives through many years of hard work and experience – meaning you won’t find what they have to say in any textbook or manual. There will be an expert in attendance representing each of the core areas of lighting from conception to manufacturing all the way to installation and in between:
- Architect
- Interior Designer
- Lighting Designer
- Engineer
- Sales/Specifier
- Manufacturing
- Electrical Wholesaler
- Contractor
After you listen to the experts share their perspectives on how and why they arrived at their chosen path, take an opportunity to sit down with them and fellow EP’s with similar goals and have a more personal conversation together. You will also meet and connect with like-minded colleagues during the evening.
In true EP fashion, we will be heading out afterwards for food and drinks and even more socializing at a nearby establishment. We will be handing out prizes in this portion of the evening so you definitely don’t want to miss out!!!
When: Thursday November 23rd
Where: 1st part: 19:15- 21:00 Ryerson University, downtown Toronto (location will be sent to registered participants)
2nd part: 21:00 – 23:00 Nearby establishment (to be announced)
Cost: $15 (includes appetizers and 2 drink tickets during the 2nd part of the evening)
NOTE: Participation in this event is limited to EP’s only (5 years or less in the lighting profession)
