Toronto Lighten Up! @ Acuity Brands Lighting Canada

IES Lighten UP! is a luminaire design competition. Entrants will be placed into teams of 5 to 6 people and will both design and construct a luminaire in 90 minutes. LED Light sources, lighting controls, and craft materials will be provided. This event is open to EVERYONE, and we mean everyone; family members and non-lighting-industry-affiliated folks are more than welcome to participate. People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice prizes will be awarded. Judge’s Choice winners will have their design submitted for national IES judging.

IES Toronto LC Study Group 2019 @ CREE Canada

IES Toronto Section Presents the NCQLP Lighting Certification Study Group 2019. This group is designed to assist those who have registered to write the LC Exam prepare for the exam in a structured environment.
 
Since 1991 the Lighting Certification Program has set a baseline standard for the lighting industry to earn their Lighting Certification (LC) Designation.

Join the growing commitment to excellence in our field and become Lighting Certified.

Steps to take:

  1. Go to NCQLP website and download the Lighting Certification Handbook. https://www.ncqlp.org/NCQLP_Handbook.pdf 
  2. Register with NCQLP
  3. Complement your study time and join the IES Toronto Section LC Exam Study Course. This course meets once a week for seven weeks starting in September. Proof of NCQLP registration is required. (Dates and time will be confirmed soon.)
  4. Write your exam November 2nd, 2019

Please register for the LC Study Group on the Toronto Section Website prior to Aug 15th as space is limited.
