IES Lighten UP! is a luminaire design competition. Entrants will be placed into teams of 5 to 6 people and will both design and construct a luminaire in 90 minutes. LED Light sources, lighting controls, and craft materials will be provided. This event is open to EVERYONE, and we mean everyone; family members and non-lighting-industry-affiliated folks are more than welcome to participate. People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice prizes will be awarded. Judge’s Choice winners will have their design submitted for national IES judging.

- Register with NCQLP
- Complement your study time and join the IES Toronto Section LC Exam Study Course. This course meets once a week for seven weeks starting in September. Proof of NCQLP registration is required. (Dates and time will be confirmed soon.)
- Write your exam November 2nd, 2019

Fundamentals of Lighting is an introductory course comprised of ten (10) modules which replaces ED-100. The course includes three full days of instructions, course material binder, quizzes, a final exam, and a project.
